Otherwise know as rucola or roquette, rocket belongs to the Brassicaceae family, more commonly referred to as the cabbage family. This dark green leaf of Mediterranean origin has long been associated with British soils, with records showing a dependency on this nutritious plant stretching back to Elizabethan times.


Loved for their uniquely sweet, earthy flavour, delicate skins and firm texture, Jersey Royals are a welcome addition to the spring yield.  Grown on the Isle of Jersey from the last 130 years, main crop Royals are planted between January and April with harvesting commencing from April and continuing well into the summer
